Your privacy, clearly explained.
How ZolaHub and the Jobs product handle information.

The hub pages
About, Contact, Privacy, Terms, and the home page are static. They do not ask you to create an account. Contact opens your own email app at [email protected]. This site does not receive that message.
Your browser requests the pages and images from the host. This notice does not promise that the host never processes request data such as an address or a time.
A listing on Jobs
On the jobs app, a listing can include a name, a role or skills, a town, a description, pay offered or an expected rate, a Kenyan phone number, and an optional photograph for a person available for hire. Do not add identity documents, financial details, or a precise home address.
The ordinary jobs app stores that listing, and a processed photo, in this browser under the name kazi.listings.v1. It does not send that copy to a public listing database. Someone else using the same browser profile can open it. The jobs app has its own notice, including the developer test environment: Privacy on the jobs app.
Photos, calls, and other sites
An optional worker photo is resized and converted in the browser. A job listing does not ask for one. Online worker photos are not available yet.
WhatsApp and call links open another app, which has its own privacy practices. They appear only for a valid Kenyan number on a listing you saved. Some vacancies link out to the employer’s own application page. That site is not ZolaHub.
If you submit a listing online
When online submission is enabled, a listing and its contact details are held for review. Only an approved listing is shown publicly, and visitors may be able to request contact details. An unapproved submission is not a public listing. If that path is off, saving a listing leaves it in this browser only.
Your choices
Use My listings in the same browser to edit or remove a saved listing. Clearing site data can remove it, and ZolaHub cannot restore that browser copy from a server. For a privacy question, write to [email protected].
